February 2006 Ulf was contacted by his old collegue Patrik Forsberg – director of a successful marketing company – he needed somebody to “look a bit like Lightning Hopkins” for a commercial where Glocalnet offer the lowest internet connection ever – lower than the deep blue sea… Ulf scouted out Little Freddie King and Wolfman Washington from his contacts in New Orleans and left with a camera and two wireless mikes the day after. It received 5 (outof 5) in SvD for one of the “best commercials in a long time”.

Ulf has made a 5 minute tour of Cuba by video. Having visited Cuba over 25 times since 1982, Cuba is part of him. The culture is vibrant, with great music and Santeria – the Yoruba religion of Nigeria clad in the Saints of the Catholic Church – and then, when it moved on to New Orleans and Haiti it became – Voodoo – a big portion of the music and culture in New Orleans. The paradoxes of daily Cuban life with old american cars cruising along the Malecon with salt water spraying through cracked windows is a poetical image to watch, and a tricky thing to live.
